The frightening reality is that more people than ever are suffering from mental health issues, and yet we never fully acknowledge it! It’s still a subject that is brushed over, but why shouldn’t we talk about it the same way we talk about a physical illness? I genuinely believe that only through talking about it will people be able to kinda understand
Cheer up, Eat all simple phrases but when you are lost in a world that feels so distant from those around you its hard to see light. Especially when you always question yourself and are negative towards yourself whether that’s through words or physically. It often makes me chuckle many even sad I’m not sure which, but the fact that I can give advice but myself am very much bad at taking it.
You are probably thinking this is all a bit weird and a bit out of nowhere but it is something I am passionate about and that just needs to change… we today in this moment can start an evolution that can change the way we see and react to mental health.
It is OK not to be OK!
It’s ok to worry, its ok to not have it all figured out… life is a journey and sometimes you can get stuck in your head… but there is no shame in struggling, the struggles only make you stronger… they bring the most valuable lessons and teach you so much about yourselves.
One of the hardest things about mental illness is that you never really know what someone is going through, looks can be very deceiving. Just because someone looks “normal” doesn’t mean that they aren’t going through struggling on the inside. So I have decided to start a new series where we are going to talk about mental health and I want to bring you along with me.
It’s time to start a conversation and it’s certainly time to end the stigma surrounding mental health!
